What a great read by Dawn Brower.
First off, Colt is an idiot for pretending he’s moved on and is dating his friend. That’s not the way to go if you want to get your ex back when she thinks you cheated on her and knocked up a fan.
Emma is hurt when she thought Colt cheated on her and I didn’t blame her I’ve bit!

Colt and Emma were a couple until he seems to get caught cheating and then she left her job as a physical therapist for his team. When they call her back she decides she isn't going to let him keep her from a good job so she goes back. Colt wants nothing more than to get Emma back so he gets his best friend to pose as his girl friend. Will he get his girl back or will she decide she could never trust him?

I was given this book to read in exchange for a review. OMG! Emma made Colt work really hard for forgiveness - and for something he didn’t even really do wrong - he just kept making things worse. What an entertaining book. The whole series was so well-written and all of the character’s personalities are realistic and believable with enough drama to keep it exciting enough to reel you in. I enjoyed the whole series.

Now it is Emma story, in the first book you meet Colt and in this story, they may just have a chance. Colt is a football player that became involved in a scandal at the time he an Emma were a couple but Emma pull back so they were not on the best of terms. The end of this book is so heart wrenching I suggest you have some tissue handy-it was Sooo!! Good!! This book has a lot in it from a wedding, to accidents, to psycho b---- what more could you want for an afternoon read. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.
Misunderstandings always have a way of putting to a hault what could be the love that leads to happily ever after such as the case of Colt and Emma. When Emma is offered the job of a life time can she put aside her feelings for her ex to take it. Emma is under the impression that Colt cheating on her but did he? As these two navigate their feelings in order to work together Emma can a crazy night in Vegas get them back on the road to a happily ever after?

Colt is the backup quarterback for a Seattle professional team. When he got drunk celebrating he passed out and woke in a girl’s bed, but fully clothed. She went on to say she was pregnant with his baby. That was enough for his longtime girlfriend Emma to tell him buh bye for cheating. He is deeply and forever in love with her but she won’t talk to him. How is he going to get out of this mess and end up as starting quarterback? Is she fooling herself thinking she is over him? Nicely written and great follow up to the previous book to see how her older brothers are doing.

Emma and Colt are great characters but I must admit the misunderstandings that they have made me want to slap them up side their heads and communicate! Even though they let misunderstandings derail their path to happiness together, the big question became, is there a way for them to get back on track. Can a night in Vegas possibly be the driving force for them to find their HEA or is it just another roadblock in their journey?
Great writing, great story and wonderful characters that will frustrate and make you fall in love with them, just as if they are real people in your life. Two thumbs up for this fun read.
